Going South Again by Car: 31.08.2019. Vordingbord-Scheessel

Nous prenons le ferry à Rødby (Danemark) jusqu’à Puttgarden (Allemagne), 45 mn de traversée chaude et calme, puis un peu d’autoroute et ensuite des petites routes. Le GPS nous emmène à Dahme, une petite ville balnéaire sur la Baltique. Un bon bain nous rafraîchit, il fait 35 ˚ et premier lunch en route, à la voiture. Nous repartons, autoroute, autoroute, que les Allemands conduisent vite (et bien) ! Nous n’avons pas l’habitude, nous en Norvège. La voiture marche bien et je conduis une grande partie de la journée, Jens est navigateur. Nous passons à l'est de Hamburg puis vers 16 h 45, nous sortons de l’autoroute et demandons au GPS de trouver un camping. A 17 h 15, nous y sommes, un camping simple, calme et à l’ombre, à Scheessel, près de Brême.

We take the ferry from Rødby (Denmark) to Puttgarden (Germany), 45 minutes crossing hot and calm, then motorway and then small roads. The GPS takes us to Dahme, a small seaside town on the Baltic. A good bath refreshes us, it is 35 ˚ and first lunch en route, at the car. We leave, highway, highway, the Germans drive very fast (and well)! We are not used to that in Norway. The car is running well and I drive most of the day, Jens is a navigator. We pass east of Hamburg then at 4:45 pm, we leave the highway and ask the GPS to find a campsite. At 5:15 pm, we are there, a simple campsite, quiet and in the shade, in Scheessel, near Bremen.
