Très bien dormi, dans la maison. Nous prenons le petit-déjeuner ensemble tous les quatre, Ferdi, Gaby, Jens et moi. Karsten, le frère de Thorsten est déjà parti travailler. Nous reprenons contact avec plaisir et discutons bien. Puis nous allons voir une vieille maison que Ferdi est en train de restaurer. Quel travail! Ils nous proposent de visiter un musée à Bonn, mais de ce beau temps-là, nous préférons faire une promenade, nous partons donc tous les cinq, Karsten se joint à nous. Jens et Ferdi communiquent bien avec l’allemand que Jens se rappelle du lycée, et Gaby et moi parlons anglais. La campagne est belle, grands champs de maïs et prés où paissent des vaches ou des chevaux. Nous rentrons pour le lunch, repos pour certains et travail pour d’autres et de nouveau une autre promenade, dans la forêt et dans la campagne. Un bon diner nous réunit autour de la table et la soirée passe vite.

We slept very well, in the house. We have breakfast together, Ferdi, Gaby, Jens and me. Karsten, Thorsten's brother has already left to work. We get back in touch with pleasure and talk well. Then we go to see an old house that Ferdi is restoring. What a work! They offer us to visit a museum in Bonn, but in this beautiful weather, we prefer to go for a walk, so we go the five of us, Karsten joined us. Jens and Ferdi communicate well with Jens’ German from High School, and Gaby and I speak English. The countryside is beautiful, big fields of corn and meadows where cows or horses are grazing. We return for lunch, then rest for some and work for others and another walk, in the forest and in the countryside. A good dinner brings us around the table and the evening passes quickly.
