Going South Again by Car: 05.09.2019. Oberhofen

La jolie chatte noire et blanche, Pichie, nous tient compagnie la nuit. Elle est couchée sur le tapis au milieu de la pièce et je marche presque dessus quand je me lève pour aller aux toilettes à 5 h, puis elle veut sortir. Bon petit-déjeuner ensemble, Margret fait elle-même un bon müsli, pas sucré. Nous partons faire une promenade vers 10 h, en montant derrière leur maison. Bons chemins, bien marqués, les Suisses sont de grands randonneurs. La vue est belle, montagnes et lac. Nous rechargeons les batteries au village de Sigriswill, café et bonnes pâtisseries, puis nous continuons. Nous passons une grande passerelle, seulement pour les piétons, longue et élégante, au dessus d’une gorge profonde, et rentrons. Belle balade de trois heures par un temps gris et pas trop chaud. Il commence à pleuvoir peu après notre retour. Léger déjeuner ensemble et quartier libre, repos ou blog. Nous restons à la maison ensuite, il pleut. Margret part à 17 h pour aller à une répétition de sa chorale. Nous dinons donc seulement Fritz et nous. Puis Fritz et Jens vont chercher Margret à Thun, la ville voisine, à 21 h. Fin de soirée tous ensemble et au lit de bonne heure, tout le monde est fatigué. Une bonne journée qui a passé vite.

The pretty black and white cat, Pichie, keeps us company at night. She is sleeping on the carpet in the middle of the room and I almost walk on her when I get up to go to the bathroom at 5 am, then she wants to go out. Good breakfast together, Margret makes a good müsli, without sugar. We go for a walk at around 10 am, going up behind their house. Good paths, well marked, the Swiss are great hikers. The view is beautiful, mountains and lake. We recharge the batteries in the village of Sigriswill, with coffee and good pastries, then we continue. We pass a large footbridge, only for pedestrians, long and elegant, above a deep gorge, and come back. Nice walk of three hours in a gray weather and not too hot. It begins to rain shortly after our return. Light lunch together and free time, rest or blog. We stay at home afterwards, it's raining. Margret leaves at 5 pm to go to a rehearsal of her choir. So we are only the three of us, Fritz and us, for diner. Then Fritz and Jens drive to fetch Margret at Thun, the nearby town, at 9 pm, then short evening all together and in bed early, everyone is tired. A good day which passed quickly.
