Going South Again by Car: 06.11.2019 Vienne/Vienna

Jens et Mario partent ensemble, je reste seule et fais le blog. C’est aujourd’hui que Jens fait sa présentation de SEISAN, à 10 h. A midi, il me téléphone, il a fini. Je le rejoins en vélo au « Vienna Internationl Centre » et nous partons tous les deux en vélo. Nous n’avons pas pu monter à la grande tour moderne avant-hier, mais on peut monter à « Vienna Danube Tower ». Nous y allons et montons, elle fait 150 m de haut. Belle vue de la plateforme, puis nous montons encore un étage et allons au café. Cela nous prend quelques minutes pour réaliser qu’il tourne. Le centre de la pièce ronde, où se trouvent les ascenseurs ne tourne pas, seulement la couronne autour. Nous déjeunons là-haut, léger, nous allons bien diner ce soir. Nous redescendons, et l’ascenseur va vite, et allons nous balader en vélo sur l’ile, étroite et très longue. Nous rentrons et je fais le blog d’aujourd’hui, demain je n’aurai pas le temps, nous allons faire 400 km.

Jens and Mario leave together, I stay alone and do the blog. Today, Jens gives a speech to present SEISAN at 10:00 am At noon, he calls me, he's finished. I join him by bike at the "Vienna Internationl Centre" and we both go by bike. We could not get to the top of the big modern tower the day before yesterday, but we can go up to Vienna Danube Tower. We go there and go up, it is 150 m high. Nice view of the platform, then we go up another floor up and go to the cafe. It takes us a few minutes to realize that it is rotating. The center of the round room, where the elevators are located, doesn’t rotate, only the crown around. We have a light lunch up there, we're having a good dinner tonight. We go down again, and the elevator goes fast, and we ride on the island, narrow and very long. We go home and I do today's blog, tomorrow I will not have time, we have 400 km to drive.
