Going South Again by Car: 15.10.2019 Preveza

Bien dormi, bon petit-déjeuner avec du pain frais, puis Spyros arrive. Lui et Jens discutent du problème de moteur et vont faire un petit tour en mer pour le tester. Je vais me promener à pied, je longe le quai puis vais à la marina. Je trouve quelques « bleus » et parle avec un couple de Norvégiens des Lofoten, au nord de la Norvège. Ils ont suivi à peu près la même route que nous sur Maja pour descendre de Norvège à Grèce. Je rentre, fais un peu de ménage et de rangement, et Torill et Lars Erik, les Norvégiens, viennent voir Hera II. Nous décidons d’aller déjeuner ensemble à un café agréable et ombragé vers la plage. Nous prenons des petits plats que nous partageons. L’après-midi, Jens travaille dans le moteur et répare les toilettes, je fais le blog. Le problème du moteur est sérieux : entre l’axe et la boite de vitesses, il n’y avait plus que deux vis (normalement il y en a quatre) et elles étaient prêtes à tomber. Nous n’aurions pas pu aller loin comme cela. Nous allons nous baigner vers 5 h 30, je fais quelques courses, nous nous pensons que nous avons bien mérité un bon gin and tonic, et ensuite nous allons diner à notre taverna favorite en ville. Puis nous nous couchons, mais une salle de jeux proche est bien bruyante ce soir …

We slept well, good breakfast with fresh bread, then Spyros arrives. He and Jens discuss the engine problem and go at sea to test it. I'm going for a walk, I walk along the dock and go to the marina. I find some “blue” and speak with a couple of Norwegians from Lofoten, in northern Norway. They followed about the same route as us on Maja to go from Norway to Greece. I go home, do some cleaning and storage, and Torill and Lars Erik, the Norwegians, come to see Hera II. We decide to have lunch together at a nice and shady cafe near the beach. We take small dishes that we share. In the afternoon, Jens works in the engine and fixes the toilets, I make the blog. The engine problem is serious: between the axle and the gearbox, there were only two screws (normally there are four) and they were ready to fall. We could not have gone far like this. We go swimming around 5:30 pm, I do some shopping, we think that we deserve a good gin and tonic and then go to dinner at our favorite taverna in town. Then we go to bed, but a nearby games hall is really noisy tonight ...
